A UK Based Online Plumbing Products Retailer

Project Overview
The client is an online retailer of plumbing products such as shower heads, bathroom taps, kitchen taps and more. They contacted us to upload thousands of products information on ecommerce database using CSV template. The product information, we gathered from a variety of sources like manufacturer websites, supplier websites, digital catalogs and other online resources. To catch the attention of buyers, the client requested us to improve the quality of product images, create unique product descriptions and write SEO oriented Meta information (title, keywords, description). The product classification process was the main concern as they had uncounted categories on web store.

Challenges
Here are some of the challenges we faced while working on the project:

• Researching and creating unique keyword rich product descriptions from manufacturer websites without losing actual features of products.
• Processing large number of product images with perfection in a couple of months. It was logistical challenging to edit more than fifty thousand images for background removal, resizing, tagging and uploading appropriately.
• Understanding uncounted categories and classifying products into correct category. To avoid financial losses of clients, we had to manage categorization process with awareness.
