Project Overview
Founded in 2005, the client is an online store of office supplies. They are offering a broad range of electronics, stationery and home & office essentials to Australian businesses, organisations, schools and the general public at best possible prices. The client was looking for product data entry and order processing services for their online store. They contacted and requested us to add, edit and manage products inventory on daily basis. Also, client provided us access to QuickBooks account for overnight order processing so that their customers can get product delivery as soon as possible. In addition, we had to search for missing product photos on Google / other retail sites and enhance them to make suitable for the store.


Challenges
Following are challenges we encountered:

  • Developing and implementing a strategy for variety of products such as electronics, stationery and home & office essentials. It was tricky as items were completely varied from each other.
  • A tight deadline for image editing and description re-writing of already added more than 10,000 products. The client wanted to improve quality of all products and make them consistent.
  • Processing orders with no less than one hundred percent accuracy was difficult as we had to handle order processing and tracking during the night of client.

Solutions

After that, we divided our team into four groups (product data entry, image editing, description writing and order processing) to effectively manage all assigned responsibilities.
